Project-Based Buyer

The Buyer performs a variety of clerical and manual tasks involved in maintaining inventory controls related to the purchase of supplies and materials by the respective sections in Chong Hua Medical Mall, including all activities involved which may include but not limited to validating of requisitions, verifying with suppliers, storing and issuing various supplies.
Makes sure that all of these activities are in alignment with the Medical Mall’s purchasing policies and guidelines and cost control measures.
The Buyer ensures that the related needs for inventory and non-stock supplies required to support the operations of each section are met. Analyzes purchasing data and applies this to improve the current purchasing system based on the supply chain management principles.S/He purchases the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in the correct quantities and timelines ensuring the procure-to-pay cycle.
Qualifications- Graduate of any four-year course preferably in Industrial Engineering, Finance or a Medical-related field.
- Relevant work experience as a buyer in a medical-related industry or knowledge in supply-chain is preferred.
- Must be keen on details.
- Knowledgeable in basic Microsoft Office application.
- Good English communication skills, both oral and written. Can speak the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog.
