Job Summary
The Empowerment Technologies SHS Instructor is responsible for teaching Senior High School learners the effective and responsible use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as tools for communication, collaboration, content creation, and digital learning.The subject focuses on the use of digital platforms, productivity tools, media literacy, online research, and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence tools in creating meaningful digital experiences. The course also develops students’ digital literacy, critical thinking, creativity, and ethical use of technology relevant to academic, professional, and real-world settings.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of ICT tools, digital platforms, and online collaboration technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Apps/Google Workspace, and Artificial Intelligence tools
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to simplify technical and digital concepts for Senior High School learners
- Experience in teaching, training, digital content creation, or ICT-related work is an advantage
- Proficient in preparing lesson plans, hands-on activities, and assessments
- Knowledgeable in media literacy, digital ethics, and online information evaluation
- Passion for technology integration, innovation, and student development
- Deliver engaging and learner-centered instruction in Empowerment Technologies
- Teach topics related to ICT tools, digital communication, media literacy, and content creation
- Guide students in using productivity tools, collaborative platforms, and emerging technologies effectively and responsibly
- Prepare lesson plans, activities, projects, and instructional materials aligned with the curriculum
- Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and provide timely feedback
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and responsible digital citizenship
- Support students in developing practical digital and communication skills applicable to academic and professional settings
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Participate in academic meetings, school activities, and professional development programs
