We are currently hiring for Accounting Associate to join our #iopexhappyatwork growing team!

Job Overview

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant with a strong accounting background and a solid understanding of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures and with some of the general accounting functions. This role reports to the Team Lead-Finance Team Manila Site.

Job Description:

  • Receives request for payment, verify and validate the correctness and completeness of documentation in preparation for the processing of Accounts Payable.
  • Ensure scheduled vendor payments are monitored in a weekly manner
  • A must reconcile vendor outstanding payables versus payments
  • Monitor liquidation for advances with checking of receipts and invoices as attached
  • Participates in month end closing of books particularly for handled accounts and balance sheet reconciliation. Ensure expense accounts have been properly recorded in the books and with analysis thereof will handle VAT and Expanded withholding taxes details, filing and payments
  • Assist with financial audits requirement
  • Other tasks required as needed for the accounts handled

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business with an emphasis in Accounting
  • Fresh graduates are welcome encourage to apply
  • Preferably with 1 year experience in Accounts payable or General Accounting
  • Strong desire to build and improve processes that streamline and automate operations
  • Strong understanding of general ledger structures, accounting skills, and financial reporting
  • Experience with Quickbooks and/or Accounting system
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS office
  • Must be amenable to work onsite in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City
