The IT Technical Support is responsible for maintaining computer systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting users with technical concerns to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications
Respond to help desk requests (in person, phone, or ticketing system)
Set up user accounts, email, and access permissions
Maintain IT equipment and perform regular system checks
Assist with network setup and basic server maintenance
Document issues, solutions, and procedures
Ensure data security and follow company IT policies

Required Skills & Qualifications

Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, macOS, or Linux
Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Good communication skills (explaining tech in simple terms)
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple requests
Attention to detail and organization
Bachelor's degree is required
Minimum of 1-2 years IT support experience is required

Preferred Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Experience with help desk or IT support roles
Knowledge of remote support tools and ticketing systems
