Cement Technician (Davao)

The Cement Technician provides technical support, operates, inspects, monitors, and troubleshoots process line equipment to ensure that production output targets, quality, cost and optimal efficiency are met and there is a continuous supply of desired raw materials to support production requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Inspects and monitors process equipment, machineries and material flow to ensure availability.
• Conducts walk by and pre-operational inspection and accomplishes inspection checklist.
• Operates machineries in manual and semiautomatic mode.
• Monitors equipment conditions during the shift and communicates findings & observations in the Shift Turn-Over Meeting (STOM).
• Verifies actual field readings against standard values by using portable measuring instruments.
• Performs basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs of the operating facilities.

Requirements:

• Graduate in any Engineering Technology or 2-3 years Vocational Technology courses (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Industrial) or BS Engineering course (Mechanical or Electrical)
• At least two (2) to three (3) years of working experience in equipment and process line operations, inspection, and maintenance.
• Preferably with knowledge in the manufacturing industry.
• Willing to work in a shifting schedule.
