About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Controller to support the client’s executive leadership team. This multi-entity, multi-state role is central to our financial strategy and operational success. The role will provide the executive team with comprehensive financial updates, guiding the client’s fiscal planning and growth.This role includes overseeing a back-office team, with a focus on development and scaling to meet expanding business needs.
Work hours: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM Manila time (subject to adjustment to US hours, with prior notice)

What you’ll do
Financial Reporting- This role will support the executive leadership team in providing regular financial updates, forecasts, and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee Month-End Reporting, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation across multiple entities and states.
- Manage cash flows analysis, annual budgeting processes, and driving financial accountability across all departments.
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, adhering to regulatory and GAAP compliance.
- Lead multi-entity, multi-state payroll processing, working closely with HR and other teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions, and work with the team in optimizing processes for scalability and efficiency
- Oversee all tax-related responsibilities, including income tax filings, multi-state tax compliance, and other required submissions.
- Ensure timely, accurate filing and reporting of taxes, collaborating with tax advisors and ensuring compliance with current regulations.
- Assist executive leadership in M&A activities, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and financial analysis for potential acquisitions.
- Provide insights and support for financial modeling and projections related to acquisition opportunities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive both team-level and business-wide performance.
- Analyze KPI trends and make data-driven recommendations to support continuous improvement in financial operations and strategic outcomes.
- Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements across all entities.
- Develop process documentation for all key components of the finance and accounting function.
- Contribute to long-term financial planning and strategy formulation as part of the executive team.
- Provide strategic recommendations for growth, acquisitions, and other business opportunities, utilizing financial analysis and modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of multi-entity, multi-state payroll, tax filings, and compliance requirements, including experience with income tax.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and consolidation for multi-entity organizations.
- Familiarity with M&A processes and experience supporting due diligence and financial integration activities is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow high-performing teams.
- Experience working with professional services vendors (insurance, banking, tax advisors, etc.).
