QA Architect Lead

About the role
We're looking for a QA Architect Lead to take ownership of our test automation architecture — designing, building, and governing scalable, maintainable frameworks that ensure quality across all our products. You'll work closely with development and architecture teams, champion best practices, and mentor the QA team to continuously raise the bar on engineering quality.
What you'll own- Architecture & Strategy
- Design and maintain QA frameworks and testing strategies across all systems and applications
- Test Automation
- Lead research, design, and adoption of automation tools to reduce reliance on manual testing.
- Test Coverage & Validation
- Ensure comprehensive testing of functional, technical, and edge-case requirements through structured approaches.
- Defect Prevention
- Strengthen root-cause analysis and preventive testing practices in collaboration with development teams.
- Mentorship & Enablement
- Guide and mentor Senior and Mid QA Architects on technical best practices and automation capabilities.
- Security & Compliance
- Align QA practices with ISMS policies, security requirements, and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4–6 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, with demonstrated depth in advanced testing, automation, or QA design roles.
- Strong expertise in web application and system testing, including debugging, troubleshooting, and validating complex functional and edge-case scenarios.
- Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, scripting, and automation best practices; experience reducing manual testing through automation is preferred.
- Working knowledge of programming or scripting languages and database platforms to support automation, testing, and defect analysis (advantageous).
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with development and architecture teams, translating technical requirements into robust QA strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight delivery timelines.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, research, and adoption of new QA tools, technologies, and testing methodologies.
