QA/QC & Service Engineer – HVAC

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA/QC & Service Engineer to join our HVAC team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering with at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. The QA/QC & Service Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of HVAC systems through rigorous testing, inspection, and service management, as well as overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of HVAC systems to meet quality and safety standards.Candidates must be willing to be deployed nationwide for project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance/Control:
- Develop and implement QA/QC processes and procedures to ensure HVAC system installations meet company and industry standards.
- Perform inspections, testing, and evaluations of HVAC systems, components, and installations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and company specifications.
- Manage non-conformances, document findings, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Service Engineering:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HVAC systems during the service phase.
- Coordinate and manage service schedules for the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.
- Ensure HVAC systems are performing at optimal efficiency through preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with clients to understand service needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Project Support:
- Work closely with the project management team to support HVAC system installation and commissioning.
- Assist in the preparation of service reports, quality assurance reports, and other documentation.
- Ensure that project timelines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position (QA/QC & Service Engineer in HVAC).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and related technologies.
- Proven experience with HVAC installation, service, and commissioning.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and control standards within the HVAC industry.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, LEED, etc.).
- Proficiency in using HVAC design software and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be willing to be deployed nationwide for project needs.
Preferred Skills:
- PRC (Professional Regulation Commission) license is an added advantage.
- Experience with service management software and tools.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and sustainable design solutions.
