What you'll be doing
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed to ensure a smooth finish
- Apply paint, stains, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and trims
- Mix and match paint colours to achieve the desired shades and effects
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to coordinate painting schedules and tasks
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Painter or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
