Job Description

The Branch Manager is responsible for driving sales, managing operations, and ensuring service excellence, focusing on team building and compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and Support Teams – Branch managers are in charge of building, and in most times repairing teams for every individual to function at their highest.
• Talent Selection - Branch Managers are in charge in the selection and hiring of their sales teams. They are involved in sourcing, resume review, interview and job offer decisions.
• Training – The manager is expected to champion Gigahertz's culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Coaching – To motivate the sales teams, Branch managers are required to develop and maintain a healthy relationship with their personnel through weekly coaching. Furthermore, they must ensure this coach-mentee relationship cascades downstream from branch managers down to every frontliner.
• Effective communication – Branch managers understand that it doesn’t matter what they say, but what the person they talk to understands. The following are some of the vital points that Branch managers must get across:

Qualifications/Requirements

• With at least 2 years work experience in leadership or management role
• Availability to work at any time of the day and at the hours necessary to open and close the store, which may include nights, holidays, and weekends
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships and apply skills and to train and develop staff
• Ability to be on the feet most of the day, or moving on the sales floor
