Project Engineer (Restaurant/ Food Chains)

The Construction Project Engineer will oversee end-to-end delivery of commercial and restaurant development projects—from initial planning through site execution to final turnover. This position is responsible for ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and full compliance with quality and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project briefs outlining scope, timelines, and key construction milestones.
• Manage the pre-bid process and ensure alignment with project delivery strategies.
• Coordinate procurement by defining equipment and system requirements.
• Sync delivery timelines for Owner-Supplied Materials (OSM).
• Organize project kick-off meetings and lead initial safety and quality orientations.
• Review and validate technical drawings and construction documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring project execution aligns with approved plans and schedules.
• Respond to technical concerns and manage RFICs (Requests for Information and Clarification).
• Conduct regular coordination meetings with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Perform routine site inspections, walkthroughs, and develop punch lists to track outstanding items.

• Lead pre-opening quality checks and ensure all punch list items are addressed.
• Facilitate smooth project turnover and documentation for project closure.
• Evaluate and verify contractor billing and progress claims.

• Licensed Civil Engineer or Architect.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in commercial, retail, or restaurant construction.
• Strong knowledge in site supervision, QA/QC practices, and project coordination.
• Familiarity with Philippine building codes and construction regulations.
• Proven leadership, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Willing to do field work.
• Must be able to report to the Pasig head office at least once a week.
