Job Requirements:
- Graduate of BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or any related course.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software (e.g., Windows OS, MS Office, printers, scanners).
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Internship or on-the-job training experience in an IT support role is an advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide basic technical support to employees (e.g., setting up computers, assisting with password resets, and basic troubleshooting).
- Assist with setting up new user accounts, email access, and basic profile configurations.
- Help install and set up hardware and software (computers, printers, scanners, etc.) under supervision.
- Respond to basic IT-related questions or issues and escalate more complex problems to senior IT staff.
- Support routine maintenance of office IT equipment (e.g., checking printers, cables, and internet connections).
- Keep simple records of issues reported and actions taken.
- Help coordinate with vendors for scheduled maintenance or minor equipment issues, if needed.
- Assist in monitoring system alerts and report any unusual activity or downtime to the IT team.
- Support the backup process by assisting in checking whether regular backups are completed as scheduled.
- Help maintain and update IT documentation, such as user manuals, asset inventories, and support logs, under the guidance of the IT team.
- Assist in promoting basic IT security practices (e.g., reminding staff to lock their computers or follow password guidelines).
- Observe and assist during software updates or system changes, providing support as directed by senior IT staff.
- Support the organization of shared folders, drives, and basic file management systems to ensure easy access and structure.
- Provide assistance in IT projects by taking on supportive tasks, learning from senior team members, and helping with basic project needs.
- Stay informed on commonly used IT tools and systems in the company to better assist users.
- Carry out other administrative or technical support duties as assigned by the IT supervisor or team lead.
