About the role
Sert Technology Inc.' is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in General Trias City Cavite. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our accounting processes.This is a full-time position with competitive benefits and a vibrant company culture.
What you'll be doing- Record daily financial transactions in accounting systems
- Maintain and update general ledger and subsidiary ledgers
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Organize and maintain financial documents and records
- Assist in preparing basic financial reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assist in preparation and filing of tax returns (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, percentage tax)
- Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance with government regulations
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for tax filings
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting clerk role
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with payroll processing and tax compliance
