Sales & Inventory Operations Specialist | WFH

This is a remote position.

• Comply with existing and assist with documenting the company’s inventory management processes and operating procedures
• Schedule and co-ordinate stock takes (rolling and/or annual)
• Co-ordinate physical and system inventory checks and/or investigate discrepancies to ensure stock accuracy
• Work with purchasing department and freight forwarder to track or follow-up on incoming stock
• Identify and monitor overstocks and/or slow/dead stock and maintain a database for the account management team
• Monitor stock levels and incoming order quantities in our AU warehouse and NZ 3PL, and co-ordinate with purchasing to ensure stocks meet forecast requirements
• Assist with data analysis of actual freight and distribution costs and performance against expectation and highlight any discrepancies or opportunities for improvement

• Provide regular and ad-hoc support and analysis to the Account management team
• Maintain existing and enter new customer or supplier details into Cin7
• Co-ordinate with marketing department to ensure all new customers are captured for ongoing marketing purposes
• Maintain trade customer pricing contracts in Cin7 for back-end sales entry and B2B portal as required by the accounts team
• Enter quotes, sales, and purchase orders into Cin7 as required by the account management team
• Maintain product master database (excel)
• SKU Codes, barcodes, descriptions, dimensions, costings
• Work with manufacturing partners / China based agent to ensure all information is current
• Update product details as required in Cin7/shopify and ensure sales and warehousing teams are notified of relevant changes
• Brief marketing team on new product tag requirements
• Proof check tag artwork and send to manufacturing partners
• Ensure GS1 barcode compliance where required
• Prepare carton shipping mark artwork for manufacturing partners for NPD or as required
• Request product images from manufacturing partners (in conjunction with China based agent) and/or arrange for production samples to be airfreighted upon production completion for product photography purposes
• Maintain product files (specifications, artwork, tags, etc, as well as the product and lifestyle image database
• Load NPD into Cin7 and Shopify (including relevant images)
• Assist Account Manager/s as required with analysis of in-store channel photo’s/data for planogram, promotional or other compliance
• Assist Account Managers with sales and customer distribution analysis looking for growth and efficiency opportunities
• E.g. low or OOS, stock but no sales (extended period), stock discrepancies
• Requirements
• Technical Qualifications: Advanced excel and data analysis skills
• Accuracy in data entry / data maintenance process
• Quote to Sale and Purchasing processes
• Ability to clearly communicate with multiple stakeholders throughout Australia and China
