What you'll be doing- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based architectures leveraging AWS services
- Design and develop software solutions that integrate seamlessly with cloud infrastructure
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to software development teams, ensuring the alignment of projects with architectural standards and best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address technical challenges, optimising solutions for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Stay current with the latest AWS and software development trends, and apply innovative approaches to deliver cutting-edge solutions
- Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Solutions Architect or Senior Software Developer, with a strong background in cloud computing, preferably AWS
- Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, highly available, and secure cloud-based solutions using AWS services
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices, with experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and resolve complex technical challenges
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Certification in AWS Solutions Architect or related cloud computing certifications is preferred
