Underwriting Analyst (Onsite)(Open to fresh graduate) - Quezon City
Key Responsibilities
Review merchant applications to verify business legitimacy, assess risk exposure, and ensure alignment with company policies.
Collect and evaluate key documentation (e.g., financials, bank statements, processing history, business licenses, credit reports).
Interpret and analyze financial statements and credit data to assess risk level and recommend appropriate terms or actions.
Assist in the development and maintenance of internal underwriting tools, guidelines, and process improvements.
Collaborate with onboarding and sales teams to resolve missing information or clarify concerns regarding merchant applications.
Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions and support documentation in accordance with company policy.
Monitor portfolio health and assist in preparing internal reports on risk trends, merchant performance, and exposure.
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders regarding underwriting outcomes and credit risk policy.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any course
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or experience in fintech or financial industry
- Familiarity with underwriting principles or credit analysis
