Job Responsibilities:

Ensures that financial and operating controls within the plant are in place.
Ensures minimum inventory stock levels are maintained.
Performs regular inventory counts to reconcile records with consumption.
Validates supplementary budget requests and orders.
Prepares reports on wastage/spoilages and recommends mitigating measures to prevent losses.
Provides support in the preparation of the annual budget for inventory.
Provides regular inventory reports to match against budget / projections.
Collaborates with the production team to analyze variances.
Recommends changes in the bill of materials, if necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements

Accounting or finance graduate or any related business course
At least 3 years experience in finance specifically from organizations within the manufacturing industry; food industry, an advantage
Has experience using an ERP for manufacturing set up and Microsoft Office
Knowledge in finance, accounting processes & control principle in a manufacturing; ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
