  1. Job Overview

The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) is responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding the market for Sunjin’s hog and chicken layer feeds. The role combines technical knowledge of animal nutrition with strong sales and customermanagement skills.

The TSR provides farm consultations, delivers product presentations, supports customers with technical solutions, and helps strengthen Sunjin’s brand presence in the field.

  1. Key Responsibilities

 A.  Sales & Market Development

Promote and sell Sunjin Feeds’ hog and chicken layer products within the assigned territory.

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Develop and expand customer accounts including commercial farms, backyard raisers, dealers, and distributors.

Identify new business opportunities and propose territory development plans.

MAJOR OUTPUT: VOLUME DRIVEN

Drive consistent and sustainable sales volume generation across all assigned accounts.
Ensure strong product movement through active selling, farm visits, and dealer coordination.
Maximize feed adoption by providing technical guidance and valuebased selling.
Execute marketing strategies, promotions, and field activities that support volume growth.
Deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual volume commitments for the territory.

 B.  Technical Support & Farm Consultation

Conduct regular farm visits to assess nutrition programs, production performance, and management practices.

Provide technical recommendations to improve growth performance, egg production, feed efficiency, and overall farm profitability.
Support farm trials, gather performance data, and submit reports.
Address technical concerns and provide aftersales service.

 C.  Customer & Dealer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, farm managers, and dealers.

Conduct product trainings, meetings, and farmer seminars.
Support dealers with product movement, promotions, and marketing activities.
Attend to customer issues in coordination with sales and technical teams.

 D.  Reporting & Coordination

Submit weekly itineraries, farm visit reports, sales forecasts, and competitor updates.

Monitor pricing, promotions, and competitor activity in the territory.
Work closely with logistics, finance, marketing, and technical departments to support customer requirements.

 E.  Compliance & Brand Representation

Represent Sunjin Feeds professionally in all customer interactions.

Follow company policies, pricing rules, and reporting processes.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Biology, or Agribusiness.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Animal Technician; however, fresh graduates in these fields are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Prior experience in feed selling is a significant plus.
  • Coursework in marketing, communications, or professional selling is an advantage.
  • Must own a motorcycle and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Willing to travel and be assigned anywhere within Negros Occidental. Must be able to start immediately.
