Job Description:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of production staff, and operators.
- Oversees the day-to day operations of the assigned section/group ensuring conformity to the Regulation/Guidelines/ Standard Operations to meet objectives and targets. Make improvements or resolve issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with production planners and managers to develop production schedules and workflows.
- Ensure production schedules are met by coordinating resources, equipment, and personnel effectively.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence.
- Works with immediate head in identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing cost control measures to improve profitability.
- Enforce quality control measures and procedures to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and tests to identify and address quality issues or deviations in production processes.
- Work with quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments, and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Implement inventory control measures to optimize inventory turnover and maintain stocks indexes.
- Track production metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators to assess production efficiency and productivity.
- Prepare and analyze production reports, variance analysis, and trend analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular updates, reports, and recommendations to senior management.
- Assist immediate head in developing, coordinating and enforcing policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Responsible in conducting investigations and formulate effective countermeasures on the monthly top rejects, lot outs, claims and unusual issues related to quality together with the support team.
- Responsible to design and give idea, concept and advise together with the support team and conduct research for improvements as necessary.
- Check and review all documents within the assigned section/group.
- Responsible in identifying improvements for productivity, quality efficiency and 5S.
- Perform non-conformance root cause analysis and countermeasure of the customer claim.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, or production management.
- Knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and quality control principles.
- Knowledge in SAP system.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in a production setting.
- Proficiency in using production management software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven experience as a production supervisor for at least five (5) years or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
