Warehouseman/driver

The Warehouseman/Driver is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods and equipment. This role combines inventory handling, organization, and logistics with driving responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery notes.
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets.
• Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and stock checks.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Report damaged goods or discrepancies to supervisor.
• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and collect equipment.
• Ensure timely delivery according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips (fuel, oil, tires, brakes).
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or incidents promptly.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations and/or delivery driving preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (appropriate class for vehicle type).
• Clean driving record.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic knowledge of inventory systems and documentation.
• Ability to lift heavy items
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
