About the role
Gencore Construction Corp.' is seeking a talented DESIGNER/DRAFTER MEPFS ENGINEER to join our team in Angeles City Pampanga. As a full-time DESIGNER/DRAFTER MEPFS ENGINEER, you will be responsible for providing engineering design and drafting services for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Sprinkler (MEPFS) systems.You will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects.
What you'll be doing- Preparing engineering design drawings, plans, and specifications for MEPFS systems
- Coordinating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the design meets project requirements
- Conducting on-site surveys and investigations to gather necessary data for design
- Reviewing and approving shop drawings submitted by contractors
- Providing technical support and answering queries from construction teams
- Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Collaborating with the wider engineering team to share best practices and continuously improve design processes
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MEPFS design and drafting, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficiency in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modelling tools
- Strong technical knowledge of MEPFS systems, building codes, and industry regulations
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
