About the role
Philippine Seven Corporation is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our finance team in a full-time capacity based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This is a strategic position within our Accounts Receivable and Credit Control department, where you will play a crucial role in managing our cash flow and maintaining strong financial relationships with our customers.As a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the collection of outstanding invoices, managing credit policies, and ensuring the accuracy of our receivables records. This role is essential to the financial health of Philippine Seven Corporation and offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our operational efficiency and profitability.
Key responsibilities- Analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement and provide insights to managements.
- Prepare detailed reports and assist in forecasts on accounts receivable aging, cash flow, and financial ratios.
- Monitors and validates accounts receivable set-ups in general ledger through checking supplier conformes.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, payments and adjustments in the accounting system
- Prepare aged receivables reports and provide analysis to senior management
- Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures
- Support the credit control function in managing credit limits and customer creditworthiness assessments
- Identify and escalate accounts at risk of non-payment or fraud
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounts receivable staff members
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and company policies
- Liaise with other departments, including sales and customer service, to resolve customer-related issues
- Proven experience of at least 5-7 years in accounts receivable, credit control or a similar finance role
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, credit management and collection practices
- Proficiency with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful insights
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial records and reporting
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Certification in accounting or finance (such as CPA or similar qualification) is preferred
- Supervisory or team leadership experience is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications
