Purchasing Officer

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree in any field
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
• Amenable to work on site.
• Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office
• Has good communication and negotiation skills
• Willing to be assigned in BGC, Taguig City

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive requests from the different departments on the needed materials/items for procurement
• Source for suppliers with best quality and affordable price.
• Conduct research on products for order and negotiate to lower the cost and the discounted price but not compromising the quality
• Monitoring of stock level in coordination with inventory
• Monitoring of expiration date and practice of the first in, first out. Coordination with the supplier on the exchange of items with near expiration date
• Prepares Purchase Order (PO), verifying specifications and price
• Sending of PO through online (ERPNext) for approval
• Responsible in ordering of all items/materials including lens ordering
• Checking of items delivered versus PO, verify receipts and properly endorsed to the Inventory
• Coordinate with the broker/agent on the shipment of items (items under importation)
• Making sure that no out-of-stock issues at any given time
• Checking of delivery receipt and invoices to the accounting as attachment for payment preparation
• Submission of weekly/monthly report and/or as needed
• Other tasks that the management may assign from time to time related to the position
