Role Overview

Unlike a purely commercial sales role, this position requires the ability to understand technical product specifications, read project drawings, and hold credible conversations with engineers, architects, and project managers. If you are an engineer who loves the thrill of closing a deal — or a sales professional with a solid technical foundation — this role is your sweet spot.

What You Will Do

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors — real estate developers, general contractors, architects, MEP consultants, and building owners.
• Conduct technical needs assessments through client meetings and site visits to recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
• Prepare and submit technically accurate proposals, quotations, and BOQs tailored to each project's scope and specifications.
• Present engineering solutions confidently to technical committees, procurement teams, and project decision-makers.
• Manage the complete sales cycle — from prospecting and RFQ response to negotiation and contract closing.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers.
• Provide reliable technical advice and product support to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct consistent follow-ups on submitted proposals, pending RFQs, and active project bids.
• Coordinate with internal technical and project teams to ensure client requirements are properly addressed.

• Support the development and execution of technical marketing materials — product brochures, project case studies, and technical presentations.
• Manage and update the company's social media platforms — Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok — with relevant engineering and product content.
• Participate in industry trade shows, construction expos, and product demonstrations to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
• Assist in creating digital marketing content using Canva and other design tools.

• Submit and update Sales Pipeline reports on a weekly basis.
• Achieve a minimum of 20 RFQs per month.
• Prepare monthly workload reports every 3rd week of the month.
• Track and report on sales activities, proposal status, and pipeline value regularly.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing
• 1–3 years of sales or business development experience in construction, building systems, or technical products
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications is an advantage
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Digitally savvy — comfortable managing social media and creating marketing content
• Proficient in MS Office and Canva
• Valid driver's license; willing to conduct fieldwork and site visits
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment
