- Lead and/or self-perform the execution of engineering activities.
- Work with Engineering Manager and Project Managers to manage internal and external capacity to meet project milestones. Requests and evaluates engineering services proposals.
- Perform quality review of work performed by assigned staff; identify, investigate, and resolve internal and external quality issues on projects.
- Manage and control the generation, issuance, resolution, and close-out of requests for information, technical enquiry forms, and transmittals/submittals.
- Participate in preparation of proposals and scope development, including, conceptual designs and execution plans, engineering/project cost estimates and schedules.
- Coordinate technical activities and designs with personnel in other disciplines and departments within the local office.
- Provide leadership, training and mentoring to less experienced engineers and team members.
- Provide short term field support during construction.
- Any other actions required by management.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other technical degree.
- Prior experience in Solar and Renewables industry during design and execution phase is a must.
- Three years minimum of engineering experience performing development of solar projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Project management experience is a plus.
