Role Snapshot: What Success Looks Like
Daily Deliverables:
- Monitor and optimise live campaigns to ensure performance targets are met.
- Review campaign performance metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, and ROAS across platforms (Meta, Google, Social).
- Conduct A/B and multivariate tests on creatives, landing pages, and user flows to identify performance opportunities.
- Ensure project managers communicate with clients effectively to provide updates on campaign progress, testing outcomes, and next steps.
- Collaborate with the creative and project management teams to achieve CRO objectives in line with client goals.
Weekly Deliverables:
- Analyse campaign data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, and work cross-functionally with other departments to implement strategies for growth and the best results.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop and approve new ad creatives.
- Conduct UX and conversion analysis of landing pages, sales pages, funnels and ad accounts to identify areas for optimisation.
- Update the project managers with detailed weekly performance reports and actionable insights to send to clients.
- Send a weekly report to the CEO reporting on key insights / wins on client accounts for the week and highly on track, off track and at risk campaigns.
Monthly Deliverables:
- Deliver strategic campaign audits to refine and align strategies with client goals.
- Lead brainstorming sessions for testing new ad formats, targeting strategies, and CRO improvements.
- Ensure team KPIs are being met, providing coaching or training where necessary.
- Implement new CRO initiatives, including improving funnel steps, site speed, and conversion triggers.
- Prepare comprehensive reporting for monthly performance reviews to clients (likely led by the project managers).
- Run monthly performance review meetings with the team to develop a world-class team of media buyers.
Annual Deliverables:
- Develop and execute annual performance growth strategies for key accounts, in line with client retention goals.
- Conduct market research to tie in client goals and growth strategies with the latest market innovations and emerging trends.
- Evaluate and refine team workflows, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Identify and secure new tools or platforms to enhance campaign performance and CRO results.
- Achieve annual client retention targets and exceed business growth objectives.
- Allocate and resources and organise additional trainings for team members to increase productivity and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management- Strategise, execute, and optimise campaigns across major ad platforms (Meta, Google, Social, YouTube).
- Ensure all campaigns hit agreed performance metrics, including ROAS, CPA, and overall profitability.
- Troubleshoot underperforming campaigns and implement innovative solutions to course-correct.
- Collaborate with project managers, the creative team and marketing strategists, to track and report campaign success with precision.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of landing pages and customer journeys to identify bottlenecks.
- Lead split tests for headlines, CTAs, forms, and layouts to maximise conversion rates.
- Implement CRO best practices, including mobile-first design, UX enhancements, and trust-building elements.
- Partner with developers to deploy and monitor technical CRO fixes such as site speed improvements or coding updates.
- Track and measure the impact of all CRO initiatives on bottom-line revenue.
- Work with the CEO to hire, train, and manage a team of media buyers and CRO specialists.
- Design and implement onboarding and upskilling programs to maintain team excellence.
- Establish and monitor team KPIs, ensuring consistent high performance.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results-driven execution.
- Act as the strategic consultant for high-end clients, aligning marketing efforts with their business goals.
- Provide data-backed recommendations that inspire confidence and secure client buy-in.
- Proactively communicate campaign updates, new testing ideas, and long-term growth strategies.
- Experience: 5+ years in campaign management and CRO, with a history of delivering exceptional results.
- Expertise: Mastery of ad platforms (Meta, Google, Social) and CRO tools.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in using analytics tools to extract actionable insights (Google Analytics, Agency Analytics, ClickMagic etc etc).
- Leadership: A proven track record of managing and growing high-performing teams.
- Communication: Exceptional client-facing skills, with the ability to simplify complex data and articulate strategies clearly.
