As a Patient Care Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey. You will handle appointments, manage patient data, ensure quality assurance, and provide clear communication to both patients and stakeholders.

- At least 3 years of experience
- Confident on the telephone
- Experience dealing with customers and/or patients and managing queries effectively and sensitively
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection
- Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adhere to internal quality assurance measures and national standards
- Competent computer skills with ability to operate software programs and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Experience in a data processing/entry/analysis role
- Experience working accurately with large volumes of data
- Experience working with multiple systems
- Support the patient journey by performing administrative duties efficiently and accurately
- Escalate issues as they arise and maintain accurate data for reporting purposes
- Adhere to quality assurance measures and national standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Input referral information into patient administration systems
- Locate information from relevant sources to progress patient data
- Book appointments in line with best practice standards
- Communicate relevant information concisely to internal and external customers
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and adhere to data protection act and IGSOC standards
- Use appropriate questioning to resolve patient needs during calls
