About the role
Argold Jobs Inc is seeking an IT Systems Analyst (Business Requirements) to join our dynamic team in Metro Manila on a full-time basis. In this strategic role, you will serve as a crucial bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business needs into clear system requirements and technical specifications.Your work will directly impact the successful delivery of technology solutions that drive organisational efficiency and innovation. This position offers the opportunity to influence technology strategy whilst maintaining close collaboration with business partners across the organisation.
Key responsibilities- Gather, analyse and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments
- Conduct workshops, interviews and focus groups to understand organisational processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop comprehensive functional specifications and requirements documentation for system implementations and upgrades
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for development and IT teams
- Collaborate with system architects and developers to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives
- Create detailed process maps, data flow diagrams and system design documentation
- Perform gap analysis between current systems and proposed solutions to identify integration requirements
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate testing activities with business users
- Provide ongoing support during system implementation and post-implementation reviews
- Maintain traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are addressed throughout the project lifecycle
- Minimum 1-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent role in IT business analysis
- Strong ability to gather, analyse and document business requirements clearly and comprehensively
- Demonstrated experience translating business needs into technical specifications
- Proficiency in requirements management tools and documentation software
- Knowledge of systems development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches
- Experience with data modelling, process mapping and workflow analysis
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all organisational levels
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Familiarity with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM or HRIS systems is advantageous
- Experience in business process improvement and optimisation
- Professional certification such as CBAP, IIBA or similar qualification is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or related field
