Security Operations Analyst – Shift Lead (Makati/Cebu)
They will coordinate triage with stakeholders on security alerts and perform Incident Response and Forensics if needed.
They will coach and mentor other Analysts in performing routine SOC tasks, and be able to assist the lead on new SOC initiatives. They will be in-charge to review reports, manage escalated cases, and manage Analyst shifts.
Apart from those roles, they will be in-charge to be on-command of an assigned shift, managing multiple on-duty analysts and ensuring that operations are fully covered and priority tasks are delivered. They is also expected to support the SOC Lead with other management tasks as needed.
The candidate will have opportunity to grow security career, earn advance security certifications (e.g. SANS/GIAC , Elearning Security, ISC2 , Offensive Security, Comptia certifications and more) and learn advance security skills such as SIEM, Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Malware Reverse Engineering, Threat Intelligence, Attacker Tactic & Techniques and other security technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS- Graduate of any collegiate course preferably in the field of Information and Communication Technology
- Work related experience of at least five (5) years in performing security operations, monitoring and managing security technologies desired.
- Working Knowledge on security technologies such as SIEM and EDR is a must. Good understanding on security detection engineering and automation a plus.
- Strong knowledge in Network Security controls such as Next Generation Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, WAF etc. is desirable.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Networking (Associate level or higher)
- Basic Security Certification such as SEC+, CySA+, CEH or other relevant certifications required. Having intermediate level cyber security certifications such as CCD, ECIR , ECTHP, BTL 2 is preferred.
- Experience in leading a team a plus
- Attentive to details and meticulous with documentation, and processes.
- Excellent work ethics, hardworking with good interpersonal skills
- Driven and goal-oriented
- Willing to work on shifts and On-call on few occasions.
