Hotel Sales & Marketing - OTA Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing OTA Specialist to manage and grow the hotel's presence on Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and digital sales platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with OTA management, digital advertising, and driving room sales through effective online marketing strategies.

This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce, rate strategies, digital campaigns, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities:

OTA Management:

  • Manage and optimize the hotel’s presence on all OTA platforms (Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, etc.)
  • Ensure rate parity, competitive pricing, and content accuracy across all channels.
  • Analyze OTA performance and identify opportunities for growth and increased visibility.
  • Build and maintain relationships with OTA market managers and partners.
  • Monitor and respond to OTA reviews in coordination with the guest relations team.

Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase bookings and revenue via OTA and direct booking channels.
  • Work closely with the Revenue Manager to implement promotional plans and packages.
  • Identify and approach new potential partners or distribution channels to increase exposure.

Marketing & Advertising:

  • Plan and execute digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, OTA promotions, etc.)
  • Coordinate OTA marketing campaigns and sponsored listings to increase hotel visibility.
  • Work with the marketing team to maintain consistent brand messaging across online platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance, prepare reports, and recommend optimizations.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Generate performance reports on OTA sales, advertising ROI, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, OTA dashboards, and PMS data to track KPIs.
  • Recommend adjustments to strategies based on performance and market trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of [2-5] years of experience in hotel sales, OTA management, or digital marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of OTAs, booking platforms, and hospitality e-commerce.
  • Experience in online advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, etc.)
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of channel managers, PMS, CRS, and revenue management systems is a plus.
