About the role
RVS CARGO SERVICES INC. is seeking an experienced Trucking Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Binondo, Manila.
What you'll be doing- Coordinating and scheduling the movement of freight and goods using our fleet of trucks
- Monitoring the status of shipments and providing updates to clients on delivery timelines
- Liaising with drivers, dispatchers, and other logistics team members to ensure seamless transportation
- Maintaining detailed records of shipment information, including tracking numbers, delivery times, and any discrepancies
- Identifying and resolving any transportation-related issues or delays in a timely manner
- Collaborating with the operations team to optimise routes and improve overall efficiency
- Providing excellent customer service and responding promptly to client inquiries
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a trucking or logistics coordination role
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, drivers, and team members
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and databases
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols
