Job Summary:
The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the entire marketing strategy for Great Image, one of the most well-known and established photo studio chains in the Philippines. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong grasp of both traditional and digital marketing channels, a passion for brand storytelling, and a proven ability to drive customer engagement and revenue growth in a retail-centric business.The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding consumer behavior in the photo studio space and translating insights into impactful marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive annual and long-term marketing strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, sales targets, and brand vision.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and adapt strategies.
- Define and manage the overall marketing budget, ensuring optimal ROI for all campaigns.
- Brand Management & Development:
- Oversee the continuous development, consistency, and integrity of the Great Image brand across all touchpoints.
- Develop compelling brand narratives that resonate with target audiences and differentiate the company in the market.
- Ensure all marketing materials and communications adhere to brand guidelines.
- Digital Marketing & E-commerce:
- Lead and optimize digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, social media marketing (organic & paid), email marketing, and content marketing.
- Drive online traffic, conversions, and customer acquisition through digital channels.
- Oversee website content and functionality, ensuring a seamless user experience, especially for online booking or product sales.
- Manage online reputation and customer reviews.
- Campaign Management & Execution:
- Plan, execute, and monitor integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (online, in-store promotions, local events, partnerships).
- Collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure marketing initiatives support sales goals and drive foot traffic/bookings to branches.
- Develop compelling promotional materials, advertisements, and communication messages.
- Content Creation & Storytelling:
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content (e.g., blog posts, social media visuals, video, promotional materials, photography/studio portfolios) that educates, entertains, and converts.
- For Photo Studios: Lead the strategy for showcasing portfolio work, client testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content to attract new clients.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the marketing department.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, market trends, and consumer behavior to inform future strategies.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for optimization and growth.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Product Development) to ensure marketing initiatives align with overall business objectives.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 8 -10 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership/director role, preferably within the retail or photo studio industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
- Strong expertise in both traditional (ATL/BTL) and digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, SMM, email marketing).
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and online booking systems (if applicable).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and brand storytelling, especially relevant for a photo studio.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of the Philippine consumer market and cultural nuances.
