Interpreter/ Translator (Project-Based)

Location: Ortigas Center, Pasig City

Working Schedule: Mondays - Fridays 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM

We're looking for a skilled interpreter to join our team for a three-month, project-based role. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with our CEO and Managers in an office-based setting, providing crucial language support for various business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between English and Mandarin Chinese in a professional, business context. Provide interpretation for Tagalog as needed.
• Effectively interpret discussions covering business, negotiations, and general topics.
• Serve as a bridge for communication, ensuring accurate and clear understanding between all parties.
• Adapt to various communication styles and situations, from formal meetings to informal conversations.
• Able to translate documents in Chinese.

Requirements:

• Fluency in spoken English, Tagalog, and Mandarin Chinese is essential.
• Strong understanding of business terminology and professional etiquette.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to think quickly and provide accurate, real-time interpretation.
• Flexibility and adaptability to a field-based work environment.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
