About the role

JOJO BRAGAIS Shoes, a leading footwear manufacturer, is seeking a motivated Purchasing Associate to join our dynamic team in our South Triangle Quezon City office. As a Purchasing Associate, you will play a crucial role in the company's procurement operations, ensuring a seamless supply chain and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing business.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and source high-quality materials, components, and services at competitive prices
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and availability to make informed purchasing decisions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all purchasing activities
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function
• Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers
• Proficient in data analysis and using procurement software or ERP systems
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with relevant purchasing regulations and compliance requirements
