Accounting Assistant (US Accounting Firm, WFH)
Salary: P75,000 – P80,000 (Monthly Package)
Schedule: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM PHT
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- At minimum, an Associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or similar field. Bachelor's degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be substituted.
- 2-3 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience
- Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently on assigned duties
- Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines
- Background in US GAAP
- Review, process, gather, and compile accounting transactions and documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Be responsible for bookkeeping management and tracking of responsibilities and tasks monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Assist with preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports.
- Provide bookkeeping services for multiple businesses.
- Assist with tax document management and organization.
- Respond to accounting inquiries and simple questions from clients.
- Manage calendar for accounting responsibilities.
- Attend virtual periodic meetings with clients.
- Respond timely to clients, vendors, and employees to research and resolve discrepancies.
- Record, enter, and pay invoices.
- Review, process, gather, and compile accounting transactions and documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
