Key Responsibilities
- Diet Formulation & Evaluation: Develop and test balanced, cost-effective diets for animals to maximize performance, reproduction, and health.
- Nutritional Analysis: Assess the chemical and nutritional value of raw materials, forages, and finished feed products.
- Technical Support & Consulting: Advise farmers, pet food manufacturers, and veterinarians on nutritional strategies and resolve feeding issues.
- Research & Development: Conduct laboratory trials, analyze research data, and stay updated on scientific developments, regulations, and industry trends.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor feed production techniques to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Software Application: Use specialized nutritional software (ex. Brill, etc..) to formulate diets and generate reports.
- Must be a Degree Holder in Animal Science or any related field
- Strong understanding of biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, and animal behavior.
- Proficiency in data analysis and diet formulation software
