Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and practical IT Support professional to manage day-to-day IT operations across multiple childcare centres in Australia. This is a hands-on support role focused on troubleshooting, system administration, and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations across multiple sites.The role requires strong execution, the ability to manage multiple users remotely, and a support-first mindset. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors, while ensuring systems are running eAiciently and securely.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day IT support (logins, email, devices, systems)
- Set up and manage users (Microsoft 365, access, permissions, onboarding/oAboarding)
- Ensure proper user access and permissions during onboarding and oAboarding
- Support basic security controls (MFA, password resets, access management)
- Troubleshoot issues across sites (remote support)
- Manage email security (e.g. release quarantined emails when appropriate)
- Coordinate with vendors (e.g. CloudChat, Toshiba, IT providers)
- Maintain IT asset register (devices, warranties, leases)
- Perform system updates and basic maintenance
- Support basic WordPress updates as required (content changes, minor fixes)
- Document issues, fixes, and simple processes
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Windows devices and iPads / Apple devices
- Cloud-based childcare systems
- VoIP (3CX / CloudChat – coordination level)
- WordPress
Qualification and requirements:
Skills & Experience- IT support / helpdesk experience
- Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with multi-site environments (preferred)
- Exposure to VoIP (3CX), Apple/iPad, or WordPress (preferred)
- Clear communication and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Practical, organised, and process-driven
- Calm under pressure and reliable
- Strong communicator
- Support-focused with good follow-through
Non-negotiable skills & requirements:
- IT support / helpdesk experience
- Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
