Job Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our expansion by identifying, engaging, and nurturing B2B leads across Canada. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive mindset and a passion for meaningful outreach.As a BDR, your focus will be on initiating conversations, building relationships with key decision-makers, and booking qualified appointments that pave the way for strategic partnerships. You’ll work closely with leadership to refine outreach strategies and play a vital part in driving the company’s growth.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate high-quality B2B leads through research, outreach, and networking.
- Conduct cold calls and warm outreach to engage prospects and build initial rapport.
- Set qualified appointments and discovery calls for senior team members.
- Maintain organized and detailed records of all interactions using CRM systems.
- Collaborate with leadership to continually improve lead generation and conversion processes.
- Consistently meet or exceed targets for lead generation and appointments.
- Stay informed about industry trends and services to effectively communicate value to prospects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, cold calling, appointment setting, or lead generation.
- Experience in the insurance industry is a plus, but not required.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Confident and personable demeanor with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and lead management tools is a strong asset.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.
