Assistant Production Supervisor's responsibility is to guarantee that the manufacturing remains smooth and efficient processing by monitoring employees and organizing work flows. They must be competent and can comprehend complex operations. The goal of their job is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in profitable manner.

• Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Scheduling and preparing raw materials prior to production.
• Check production output according to specifications and materials quality.
• Submit reports on performance and progress.
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
• Overseeing the manufacturing and shipping processes and procedures in factory production operations
• Gathers/compile production/quality data for various reports/studies used in managing process improvement.
• Serves as primary liaison among work groups Division-wide.
• Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions, and responding to requests.
• Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Inspecting products for quality and accuracy prior to shipping
• Maintaining communication between management and employees to ensure that necessary policies are understood and followed
• Prepares manuals and other instructions for use by subordinates and department officials regarding proper credit/refund procedures, methods, and systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of at least three (3) yrs. experience as Assistant Production Supervisor.
• Working in the paper industry with the same position is an advantage but not required.
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
• Advanced skills in MS Office.
• Organizational and leadership abilities.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Ability to multi-task and can work with minimal supervision.
