QUANTITY SURVEYOR Renovation - PH (INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR) - Manila
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor (Independent Contractor) to join our growing DreamR team, a design-to-build arm of Ohmyhome. In this role, you’ll play a key part in planning, budgeting, and executing renovation and home service projects in the Singapore market.You will help ensure project costs are managed effectively, contracts are competitive, and deliverables are met with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review renovation plans and prepare accurate quotations.
- Evaluate material, maintenance, and construction costs, ensuring competitive and cost-efficient estimates.
- Liaise closely with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle.
- Draft and manage contracts, reports, analyses, risk assessments, budgets, and cost tracking documents.
- Provide strategic advice to managers and clients for improving project planning and cost efficiency.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate the timely ordering of materials.
- Update budgets and documentation in response to design or scope changes.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with all stakeholders—internal and external.
- Travel to renovation and project sites when necessary to ensure quality and compliance.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or renovation project management.
- Must have knowledge and exposure in the Singapore market in quantity surveying practices.
- Experience in construction estimating for the Singapore market is a strong advantage.
- Background in project costing or finance is a plus.
- Sound understanding of renovation and construction workflows, materials, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical thinking, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a strategic mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Great networking abilities and confidence in working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be able to work full-time (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday) as an independent contractor.
- Will follow Singapore’s official holiday schedule.
