About the role
NYGC Services, Inc.' is seeking an experienced Automation Tester (Playwright) to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role based in Manila City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests using Playwright, a powerful open-source library for automating Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit browsers with a single API.Your work will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge products and services.
What you'll be doing- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using Playwright
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex software issues
- Continuously improve test processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage
- Analyse test results, generate detailed reports, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices
- Mentor and train junior team members on effective test automation approaches
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation
- Proficient in Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript programming languages
- Strong understanding of web application architecture, front-end technologies, and cross-browser compatibility
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Passion for continuous learning and improvement
