Senior backend developer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems, APIs, and microservices
- Build high-performance and secure server-side applications for gaming and sportsbook platforms
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, WebSocket services, and third-party integrations
- Ensure system scalability, stability, performance, and security
- Design and manage database structures, queries, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with Front-End Developers, Product Managers, QA, and DevOps teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, bugs, and system bottlenecks
- Implement caching, queue systems, and asynchronous processing for performance improvement
- Maintain code quality through best practices, code reviews, and documentation
- Optimize server performance, response times, and resource utilization
- Assist in deployment, CI/CD processes, and server monitoring
- Participate in architecture planning and technical decision-making
- Ensure platform compliance with security and operational standards
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
- At least 5+ years of experience in Back-End Development or Software Engineering
- Experience in PIGO, Sports Betting, Online Casino, FinTech, or high-traffic platforms is highly preferred
- Strong experience with Node.js, NestJS, Express.js, PHP, Golang, Java, Python, or similar back-end technologies
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, WebSocket, and Microservices Architecture
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong understanding of system security, authentication, and data protection
- Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or version control systems
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Experience handling high-concurrency systems and real-time applications
- Knowledge of sportsbook, gaming, payment gateway, or wallet integrations
- Familiarity with message queues such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis Queue
- Experience with DevOps practices and server infrastructure
- Understanding of fraud prevention and risk management systems
- Mandarin language skills are an advantage but not required
- Location: Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City
