Helper Mechanic

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or vocational/technical certificate in automotive, mechanical, or technology.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, repairs, or technical support.
• Experience with troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of machinery, vehicles, or equipment.

Job Description:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of vessels and shipyard equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, recommending and implementing effective solutions.
• Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance.
• Operate hand and power tool, machinery, and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records, inspection, and repairs.
• Assist in emergency breakdowns, responding promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other Technical Support Group members, following instructions and supporting team objectives.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and environmental regulations while performing tasks.
• Continuously improve technical skills through training, workshops, and on the job learning.
