Security Systems Estimator (CCTV / Alarm / Access Control) – AU Client | Remote

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Security Systems Estimator to support an Australian-based client. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in estimating CCTV, alarm systems, and security/surveillance systems, with strong knowledge of simPRO.

This role will initially be part-time, with a strong potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance and client requirements.

This is a remote / work-from-home role with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for:
• CCTV systems
• Alarm systems
• Access control systems
• Surveillance solutions
• Perform take-offs and BOQ preparation
• Review drawings, plans, and specifications
• Use simPRO for estimating, quoting, and job costing
• Coordinate with suppliers for pricing and materials
• Prepare tender submissions and quotations
• Ensure compliance with Australian standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Security Systems Estimator
• Experience with:
• CCTV
• Alarm systems
• Access control
• Required: simPRO experience
• Experience working with Australian clients/projects
• Strong understanding of:
• Drawings and technical plans
• BOQ and take-offs
• Nice to Have:
• Electrical estimation background (low voltage systems)
• Experience with Groundplan / Bluebeam / AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Australian standards
