About the role
NYGC Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our growing team in Manila City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. As a SAP FICO Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering financial and management accounting solutions to our clients.This position offers the opportunity to work with leading organisations, implementing and optimising SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules to drive business value and financial excellence. You will be at the forefront of digital transformation initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust SAP solutions.
Key responsibilities- Design, develop and implement SAP FICO solutions aligned with client business requirements and best practices
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial and controlling processes to identify opportunities for system optimisation and improvement
- Configure and customise SAP modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Cost Accounting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, functional consultants and technical architects to deliver integrated solutions
- Provide guidance on financial reporting, consolidation and management accounting processes within the SAP environment
- Support system testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Document detailed specifications, configuration decisions and implementation approaches for knowledge transfer and future reference
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to client teams to ensure successful system adoption
- Provide post-implementation support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay current with SAP FICO developments, updates and emerging industry trends to advise clients on technological advancements
- Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience as a SAP FICO Consultant or in a similar financial accounting systems role
- Expert knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Cost Accounting
- Proven experience with SAP configuration, customisation and system implementation projects across multiple industries
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, management accounting concepts and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with SAP analytics tools, including SAP BusinessObjects or similar reporting platforms
- Solid knowledge of SAP intercompany transactions, consolidation and multi-entity accounting processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams
- Professional certification such as SAP Certified Associate or SAP Certified Professional in FI/CO is highly desirable
- Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies such as ASAP or similar frameworks
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is advantageous
