Key Responsibilities
- Estimating & Costing
- Prepare detailed quantity estimates for specialty finish projects, including materials, labor, tools, consumables, and logistics.
- Conduct site measurements (for verification), drawings take-off, and quantity computations.
- Proposal & Quotation Preparation
- Work closely with Sales Team to align pricing strategy and technical requirements.
- Project Coordination
- Endorse approved cost estimates and BOQs to Operations for scheduling and execution.
- Assist Operations with material planning, forecasting, and issuance requests.
- Provide technical clarification on estimates and material quantities to applicators and site supervisors.
- Cost Monitoring & Variations
- Track material consumption per project and compare against estimates.
- Prepare variation orders (VO) for additional quantities, scope changes, or deviations from original plans.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising finish quality.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Ensure that all estimate files, revisions, and project costing documents are organized and easily accessible.
- Prepare weekly reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- At least 1–3 years experience as QS or Estimator.
- Strong knowledge of material computation, construction drawings, and site measurement.
- Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD (or similar), and estimation tools.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
