Job Title: Tech Writing & Translation Sr Analyst
As a Translator, you will provide essential technical translation services for various technology programs and projects. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to ensure accurate and contextually appropriate translations, reviewing technical documents, and engaging in discussions to enhance the quality of the translations.You will also be responsible for addressing any translation-related challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring that all communications are clear and effective.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Review and edit translated documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to clarify technical terminology and context.
- Maintain a glossary of terms and translation memories for future reference.
- Assist in the development of translation guidelines and best practices.
- Translates various forms of internal written communications including documents and forms, minutes of meetings, email correspondence to presentations.
- Facilitates communication between a Japanese-speaking party and an English-speaking Filipino counterpart. Meetings and conferences may be conducted in physical or virtual platforms.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Japanese Language. Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Translation and client support. Strong understanding of technical writing principles and practices. Ability to work with various translation tools and software.Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficient in conducting research to ensure accurate translations.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Japanese Language.
