Accounting Supervisor - Inventory

Responsibilities:
- Ensures timely audit, analysis and monitoring or tracking of different inventory movements and transactions which affect inventory accuracy (such as work, open and aging unreceived Purchase Orders, pending stock counts and NSTDs without confirmation, unadjusted transfer discrepancies, same-day PO receiving adjustments, unreceived Van Shipment Reports, aging transfers, Return to Warehouse transaction, dump SKU sales, POS Markup and Markdown Transactions, Reasonableness of Cost Changes, pending allocated and aging unclaimed deducted & undeducted RTVs, inventory adjustments, negative inventory balances, Return of Stock Issuances, items with no movement, Remnant Items during PCount and merchandise-related LBRs, Online Store Sales Returns, etc)
- Handles the review of processed inventory adjustments, daily monitoring of Inventory System Interfaces and monitoring of resolutions on reported issues/concerns as well as month-end/year-end closing activities for inventory (such as JV preparation and posting in Fin-GL for inventory transaction accruals, MMS-GL Reconciliation, Actualization of Damages, Provision for Losses and Shrinkages and MMS vs MILS vs TB Recon)
- Handles preparation, monitoring, reconciliation, assisting and coordinating with other departments/external auditors during PCount as well as handle the post Pcount activities such as PCount Analysis, Reconciliation, Variance Processing, Result Posting, Submission and Reporting.
- Handles the review of processed Year-End Inventory Listing for BIR submission
- Participates in Inventory system-related Activities such as preparation of Inventory System Improvement Specifications, Inventory System Test Scripts, User Acceptance Testing and proposal of inventory system improvements requests to the Inventory Manager.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related studies, Certified Public Accountant, as an additional factor
- With at least 5 years working experience in Inventory work stream
- With Knowledge or experience in using Inventory System or SAP Accounting software
- Highly analytical and able to maintain quality of work in a tight deadline wok settings
