SALES EXECUTIVE (Customs Brokerage, Logistics / Freight Forwarding)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or any related field (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
• With at least 1 year of experience in sales (customs brokerage, logistics/freight forwarding experience is an advantage).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Knowledge of Incoterms
• Basic knowledge of freight forwarding terms is a plus (FCL/LCL, Incoterms, ETD/ETA).
• Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace (Excel, email communication).
• Willing to do field work/client visits (if needed).

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, referrals, and client visits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients (B2B accounts).
• Understand customer shipping requirements and recommend suitable logistics solutions (Import/Export, Sea/Air, FCL/LCL).
• Coordinate with Pricing/Rates and Operations teams to prepare accurate quotations and proposals.
• Follow up on quotations and close deals while ensuring profitable pricing.
• Negotiate terms and secure bookings based on customer needs and company guidelines.
• Manage client accounts by providing regular shipment updates, resolving concerns, and ensuring service satisfaction.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates regularly.
• Meet monthly sales targets and support company growth initiatives.
• Attend meetings, trade events, and sales presentations when required.
• Maintain proper documentation for client onboarding, agreements, and service requirements.
