Dump truck driver

Job Description

• Operate the dump truck safely and responsibly, following traffic rules, road signs, and speed limits
• Transport materials (sand, gravel, soil, concrete, waste, etc.) to designated locations as scheduled
• Position the truck properly and operate the hydraulic lifting mechanism to unload materials correctly and safely
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to avoid delays and ensure work continuity

• Report immediately any defects, leaks, damage, or mechanical issues to the supervisor before and after use
• Keep the truck clean inside and out; ensure proper loading and securing of cargo to prevent spills or accidents
• Assist in minor repairs and basic maintenance; coordinate with the mechanic for major repairs

Qualifications/Requirements

• At least 1–5 years of experience driving dump trucks or heavy vehicles
• Knowledge of basic vehicle mechanics and maintenance
• Physically fit, able to work long hours, and willing to be assigned to construction sites or remote areas
• Good driving record, no major violations or accidents
• Can understand and follow instructions in English or Filipino
